This ring is a natural choice to extend the “Captain America” Spin-N-Serve. One side has birds-eye maple, and the other is the same red-dyed poplar as used in that Spin-N-Serve. But, truth be told, it works very nicely with many of my items. The expansion base is included when you buy the ring.
